Feeding

All boarders are fed according to their own requirements and tend to settle sooner if they are subjected to as little change as possible. Therefore owners are asked what food their cats would prefer to eat and this is continued through their stay with us - right down to the little treats that make your cat happy.

We stock all major brands of food in tins, pouches and biscuit and are happy to supply special veterinarian food if required - on request. We also supply fresh chicken and fish plus tinned fish. Any unusual requests can usually be catered for and we have a flexible feeding regime so customers who need more frequent meals such as kittens and elderly cats can be accommodated.

General Care requirements

All boarders must have an up to date vaccination certificate which must be presented on arrival. We also strongly advise that boarders are treated for fleas and wormed before their stay. Cats must arrive and leave in the safety of their own escape proof travelling basket.

Owners may provide their own bedding, toys, scratch poles and grooming equipment although we can supply all of the above as required. We provide all the feeding dishes and litter trays to reduce confusion and will supply an alterative litter option if your cat has a definite preference.

If you cat is under veterinary treatment then please advise us when making a reservation and ensure you provide all required medication which, we will be happy to administer. Note - we cannot accept any animal suffering from any infectious or contagious disease.

Grooming

Providing the customer is happy to allow us to groom them we offer grooming to all our guests at no extra cost. Grooming often plays a considerable part in making a cat feel more settled and is beneficial in the "making Friends" regime. Owners can also request us to trim their cat's claws again if the animal will allow us to do this.
